How would I do a gate screen at the very very start of the course? My users will have required reading to finish before they should watch the video, and we thought a stop sign at the very start of the course would work. I was thinking this would be a slide layer, but how to I have the slide layer visible at the launch of the course?
Ah! Yes. Would I be able to have media play with that then?... just thinking out loud here... I guess I could put media on that slide layer and have it play with the slide layer, and then when that layer closes I could set up a trigger to have the media for the main slide layer play... would that work?
Yep. You could have media on both the slide layer and the main slide. Just make sure that you select "Pause the timeline of the base layer" for the slide layer properties on the slide layer you are starting with.
