I am finishing up a project which consists of me creating a module in German - I simply copy/pasted the text from the original. That bit is working fine.
However, when I publish the content, the text is displaying incorrectly in the player template. For example - the word that is "failing" is "bescharnkungen" with an ohmlaut (..) over the "a" - each time I publish the "a" gets replaced with a "?" - it is driving me and the course owner nuts.
Do you mean the text labels in the actual player, e.g. Next/Prev buttons, Resume dialog, etc.? Did you set the language in the player properties to German?
Articulate Storyline lets you customize the default text used in messages and controls on your course player. You can even switch to a completely different language.

No, it is actually in the player template skin around the course after I load it into our LMS system. I haven't changed any language settings.
Thanks
