Have tried to get a typing - letter by letter - effect on my elearning course. I used wipe (from left), set up a separate text box for each line with a timing, and then added a sound track of typing noise (By the way if you have an electronic "Mission Impossibe" type audio file you could share that would be great)
Anyway this worked great with preview but then I published the course and the text comes in line by line and the typing effect is lost. I originally built it in Storyline but even when I build it in PPT and import I get the same problem

Create it in PPT, with the exact animation and audio you want, then export it as a video and use that in SL
