Giving Your Buttons That 3D Look

Sep 10, 2019

If you've ever wanted a quick and easy way to give your buttons that 3D look when the user clicks on them, here is a simple solution:

1.  Select "Insert Shape" and create a rectangular button on your slide.

2.  Format your button with an internal shadow in the bottom right.

3.  Create a new Down state for your button and edit this to change the shadow to the top left.

If you now preview your slide, you will find that when you click on the button it appears to press into the screen and then pop back out as you release the mouse button, giving it that 3D look.
