I am having some trouble displaying my glossary-definitions.
Would any of you have a suggestion as to what I might be doing wrong here?
If I follow all the steps from the tutorial it al seems pretty straightforward, but still the definitions in my glossary won't show. Please see the picture that I have attached.
I am having the same problem in AS2. I have checked the features to display in all slides: Glossary, definitions, slider and resources. When previewed in the player preview it looks fine. Just what I coded for. When I click the slide preview button the Glossary, definitions, slider nor resources show. There is no left side bar at all. Can someone give me some advice? I have watched the tutorial and have completed the steps.
Thanks again for the information. I noticed as I started correcting the base slide properties that the issue is on all slides except the slides I added to this project. Is there a way to globally change all slides to what I want or do I have to change each slide individually?

Hi Chris,
Are you not able to see the definitions when actually previewing the file instead of looking at it within the Player preview set up?
Hi Ashley,
I am not able to see the definitions in both situations. Also when viewing it in a published version the definitions don't show.
Hi Chris,
Could you share the file with us so that we can take a look?
Hi Ashley,
I also am having the same problem. Do you have a work-around for me on this?
Thank you
Adene
Hi Adene!
I am not able to locate a case for Chris, so I do not have an update or suggestion to apply.
Did you follow the instructions in this tutorial as well?
You are welcome to share your .story file for us to have a look at as well.

Hi Susan!
Can you share your .story file so that we can take a look?
Sure. I have posted a sample. I see that the 2d slide it shows fine and in others it does not.
Hi Susan!
Thanks for sharing your file and allowing me to take a look.
I see where you have the items you previously mentioned set in the Player Properties - and this is what your preview player is showing you.
However, it appears that many of your slides are set to Custom, which will override your player settings. Example Slide 2.3:
As you can see in the image, all of the player options are de-selected. This is why you are not seeing them.
Ah.. Thanks. I took over this project from someone else and I did not think to check that all the slides may be different. Thanks.

Hi Susan!
From Story View, you should be able to select multiple slides and choose to use the default player settings vs the custom.
Thanks. I am getting it working.
Glad to hear it Susan. Thank you for sharing an update and let me know if you need any further assistance.
I had this issue too but made the changes and I still don't see the glossary
Hi Nancy!
If you've followed the conversation here and cannot see the glossary, would you be able to share your .story file so that we can take a look?
