Hi, Saasha. Happy first post and great question!

Storyline supports uncompressed MP4 videos in the published output. This applies to the three most common MP4 profiles: baseline, main, and high.

If the Compression property is grayed out, it means that the video was created with a different profile or edited with Storyline's built-in video editor.

Next Steps
  • Re-encode the video file with a free conversion tool such as HandBrake: https://handbrake.fr/
Here's a video demo on how how to use the tool.
  • Another idea is to locate the video in the story_content folder of your published output. There you can replace the published version of the video with the uncompressed version. The title just needs to match the one it was assigned during the publishing process.

If we're still stuck after those ideas, could you share your media file with us? Simply use this case link. We'll take it from there!
