I've about maxed out the capabilities of my current laptop. I want to buy a new one and use it only for producing eLearning. I use Articulate Storyline, sometimes Studio, Camtasia Studio 8.0, Adobe Creative Suite, and Audacity for sound recording and editing although I've started just using the sound tools in Storyline. I'm not a hardware-geek (just an eLearning and database geek!) so I'm looking for hardware recommendations. I'd like a laptop that will run all of this fairly easily so that I can add more programs as I learn about them.
If you go to the sites for some of the other tools you mention in your thread I'd say you should find similar requirements. I'd find the common denominator and start looking at laptops that meet or exceed them.
