Hello. I was trying to replace a video on the Storyline file. Neither is the video getting replaced nor is the video getting inserted.

So, the status of the video remains unchanged with options such as replace a video or insert video > video from file. I'm wondering how this can be fixed.

The storyline file is not getting updated/ saved. There has been a lot of effort and time invested in this eLearning and am overtly concerned about re-working on it.

I'm looking forward to your suggestions and recommendations on how to solve this problem/ issue.

Let me ask you a few questions to help you troubleshoot the issue:

  • Are you working from a local hard drive? We don't recommend working with files on a network drive.
  • Is this happening with one specific .story file?
  • Have you attempted to repair Storyline 360? Here are the instructions.

If a repair doesn't solve the issue, or if it's specific to a file, I'd recommend opening a support case with our engineers.
