HELP! Accessibility problems and inability to change visual settings are preventing someone from using storyline.

Sep 27, 2023

I have a member of staff who has Irlen syndrome which is a processing disorder making it very difficult to visually process things. Her main problem preventing her form using any articulate product ribbon is too pale and when icons are highlighted they become even paler and the fonts become less bold, this makes it impossible for my member of stuff. She also has dyslexia and the colours of the docking area ie timelines and triggers are also very difficult her to see. she has specialist optometrist glasses which help with colours but articulate colours are not compatible. She needs to be able to change the colour options on the main area of articulate but there doesn't seem to be any accessibility options at all in to do this. Other software i.e MS Powerpoint allows this to be changed. Surely other people have similar difficulties and are unable to use storyline?????

Hello Kelly,

I'm really sorry to hear that your colleague ran into this snag.

There isn't a way to modify the color scheme of Storyline 360's interface, but we do have an open feature request for a 'Dark Mode' option to be added to give authors more visibility options when creating courses.

I wanted to share some information about how we manage these feature requests for your reference. I've added your voice to the report so that we can share any updates with you here.
