Ok, so I am trying to take four scenes that are in one story document and transfer to 4 separate documents, as I need to publish each scene individually.
When I copy and paste the scene into the new file the same preferences (colors, master slides etc) don't carry over.

duplicate the file 4 times and delete the scenes you dont need
