While the learner watches the video, questions pop up in light boxes automatically when the SLIDE timeline reaches a cue point. What I want, is to link the popup to the VIDEO timeline. I.e. when video reaches 1:09, question 1 appears. This way, even if the learner scrubs through the video, the questions still appear at the right time in coordination with the video. And the learner maintains control of the video. The only lightboxes I have found this works for are the ones at the end of the video. For those, I made a trigger that says "show this slide in Lightbox when Media Ends." I don't see an option for "when media reaches X point." Help!
There is no such option in Storyline. A workaround would be to create your own playback controls (pause/continue/rewind, but no seekbar) for the video, which would pause/resume the slide's timeline and pop up lightboxes in sync withe the cuepoints.
another alternative would be to open your video in articulate replay or moviemaker and add text at the required spots. Publish as MP4 load back into storyline then add the storyline video playbar.
In case you want to use Replay like Wendy mentioned, you can download Replay for free right here if you already have an existing license for Storyline.

Thank you! Gtk workarounds.
Is it possible to show the video timeline bar, so learner can view how much
is left?
