Help me make a "switch"
Oct 31, 2016
I am creating an on/off switch. The switch is a simple rectangle and ON is the NORMAL state. OFF is another state where rectangle is a little shorter. I set the trigger to "turn off" when user clicks the shape. I want the user to be able to turn it back on as well. I set the trigger to return to normal (also tried adding a third state of ON) when the user clicks the shape under the condition that the shape is in state of OFF. If the second trigger is not there, it works. If I add the second trigger, nothing works. If I put the second trigger first, it will turn "OFF", but it wont turn back on. I have attached an image. Please help. As always, thank you !!

All you need is two built-in states, Normal and Selected. With these two states, you effectively create an ON/Off switch. No triggers needed.
Thank you, but I still the same result when only using normal and selected states. I can't get the switch back to the normal state. Any other ideas?
Thank you,
Terry
See attached a quick example. Note that the four buttons in my example are arranged in a button set, which ensures that only one button at a time can be selected.
OMG... I was making this way too hard... thank you!
