I built an accessible drag-n-drop style activity for a client that is set up to show an incorrect layer based on "drag" items being selected; however, it's showing the incorrect layer even when none of the drag items are selected (except it works fine on the first item). This is a behavior my client doesn't want. I'm not seeing any cause or fix for this behavior and was hoping someone could help me out.
Hi Carla, you could set the drop targets to "Disabled" state until a drag element has been selected.
IMO, from an accessibility perspective, I like how it works after the first drag, i.e. not having to select a drag element, as there is only ever one drag on the slide. It seems like an extra unnecessary step for assistive tech users.
