Hi Jennifer,

I understand that you see a white line after you publish slides imported from PowerPoint that have a gray background. I’m happy to work with you to figure out why this is happening!  I have a few follow-up questions regarding the situation so I can understand what you are experiencing a little better.

  • Which version of Storyline are you using? I am using Storyline version 3.76.30446.0.
  • Which version of PowerPoint are you using?
  • Is this happening with more than one file or is this the only one?
  • Are you working from a shared drive? If so, I recommend saving your files on your local drive before creating, editing, and publishing them. This will help minimize any unexpected behavior.
  • How are you publishing your course? Are you publishing to Web, LMS, Review 360, Word, or Video?

I’ve attached a Story file that I created in Storyline 360 with a slide imported from PowerPoint. The background displays properly after publishing to Review 360. Do you mind opening it on your end to see if you notice the same behavior?

Also, would you be willing to share your file here or with our support engineers privately in a support case so we can troubleshoot?

Thanks for reaching out and I look forward to your response!
