I am working on a project in which I need to embed web parts that link to videos on youtube. I've been able to do that, but was wondering if there was a way to make a video start and/or stop at a specific point in the video if I don't want to show the whole video. Also, at the beginning of some of the videos that are ads. Is there a way to bypass or remove the ads as well?
And just to add on to the info Michael sent, I've attached a story where I used the parameters to control the video. This is what the entire "phrase" looks like:
It looks like Michael and Becky have you covered here but if you need anything else let us know!
Becky - love that video. I think it's so funny how the orange kitten seems to not care about stepping on the dogs face or laying on top of the other cats head. I had a cat just like that growing up!
Love it also. Did you have a dog like that as well? THAT'S the crucial piece! That dog is just too sweet for words. Always happy to have a chance to look at the video "one more time."

See here for some options to customize the appearance of YouTube videos.
Hi Jeanne,
And just to add on to the info Michael sent, I've attached a story where I used the parameters to control the video. This is what the entire "phrase" looks like:
www.youtube.com/embed/MxwH9RbQzJ0?autoplay=1&start=10&end=30
The embedded video starts up automatically (autoplay=1)
Starts at 10 seconds (&start=10)
Stops at 30 seconds (&end=30)
Once you download the story, you'll have to publish it to see it "at work"...it doesn't work in Preview.
I LOVE this video, so it was another opportunity to share it . The video is here.
Please shout out with any questions.

Oh yeah - the dog let the cat walk all over her, literally.
