I have a course set up with a picture. I want the participant to click on many items in the picture and click submit. I used the freeform to identify in articulate what items were correct. However, its not working. Does anyone have any ideas why? Any help you can provide would be useful.
No matter what we select, the answer is always wrong. See attached. If you have any better ideas on how to make these options, without using freeform, let us know. This is our first try in doing this.
Personally, I wouldn't use a Freeform for the mail element (it's a separate bitmap anyway). I would use the letter/mail bitmap, add states to it,and then format them, e.g. a blueish glow for the Selected state.
I have a similar problem. In Storyline and Qsuizmaker I have successfully created a graphic which asks users to click on multiple hotspots to identify the locations of fire exits. Each hotspot is a correct answer. I have tested the item in both Storyline and Quizmaker, but when I imported the item into Rise (using the import Storyline block) the hotspots are not working and tell the user that their selection is incorrect. I know they are correct. I don't know why this is happening. Could anyone help?
hard to say without seeing your files. If you can share the .story file someone can try and upload into Rise and see what's happening - alternatively you can log a ticket with support and they can take a look for you.
Wendy is one of our amazing community members, so she may be willing to take a look at your file privately and can share her email.
If you need to share it privately with Articulate staff, you can upload a copy of the .story file to the team here. That's confidential, and they can always sign an NDA if needed.
as Ashley said I'm not staff so if you want to log a support ticket that's fine, or if you want to contact me just click my profile pic and send an email. I'm in Australia so our timezones may clash if you need a super quick answer.

What kind of not working? There are a LOT of ways something can go wrong.
If you could attach your .story file, it would help someone look inside and give you some ideas.

Thanks so much in advance!
The issue seems to be with the mail item. I copied the bitmap from the Freeform and created a new item...now it works.
Thanks!
Do you have any recommendations on how to make the freeform more attractive? Or more appealing once selected?

Hello Wendy,
Many thanks for your help. Is there a secure place I can send the file to you?
Kind regards,
Jill

Many thanks Wendy,
I am going to try another route to see if eliminating a step resolves the issue. Watch this space!
