I am fairly new to Storyline 2 and am self taught. For some reason the Post-Assessment is showing as completed even though the activities have not yet been completed. I am not sure what to look for to correct.
Hi Cheryl! Good work...I'm sure you've come a long way so far with Storyline, and we're happy to help.
The first think I would investigate would be the states of those menu items. What is their initial state? Are you using built-in states? What is triggering the state change?
I'd then have a look at your triggers panel. Are you jumping to other slides from those menu items? What is supposed to happen when you return to that slide?
If you have a .story file that you can share, use the Add Attachment button. I'm happy to have a look!
Hi Crystal, thank you for responding. I thought it may have to do with the trigger. As I am not the creator of this module, didn't want to mess around with it. There are other modules that I have been working on and this is the only one that this has happened.
Again, thank you for your assistance, file is attached in zip, is that ok, hope it works.
If you're able to share the .story file that's what we'll want to take a look at. To share it as a part of the forum discussion you'll want to use the "add attachment" button at the bottom of the reply window:
Once we've got that - staff and other community members can take a look!
When doing the activities for the first time and say you complete one, then go to the home page to pick the next activity, the assessment down at the bottom displays a check-mark with a cross through it, then i noticed that it is saying that I have completed the post assessment when I haven't even finished all of the activities. Hope this makes sense.
thank you for this, with your published file it is working fine. I will try and republish and see what happens. If you look at the first thread that was what I was getting, hence my questions.
I republished did the first activity Missed Calls went back to this page and this is what appears, it seems that the other missed calls and in-tray explosion are showing as having been done, and the post assessment is showing with the tick crossed out. So I am not sure where to look now to fix. Why would yours be okay.

I am not sure what I am to add, as it is not letting me is this what you require?
Hi Cheryl
Ashley is after the storyline source file - the one you edit in Storyline - it will have an extension .story
Hopefully this is the one. Sorry for being so challenged.
Hi Cheryl - That's certainly the correct file, but I'm not able to recreate what you were first asking.
Do you know the steps that the user took to replicate?
Looks like the player settings for the LMS publish are set to prompt to resume - are you seeing this after resume?
Are you having an issue with the preview of the content?
Sorry for so many questions - would just like to be sure I'm looking at the right thing :)

Hmm, thanks for those details Cheryl. I'm not seeing that behavior:
Do you experience the behavior in my published file here?

Hi Leslie, not sure what happened but the module is now working ok. must be those gremlins in the computer. Thank you for your assistance.
I hate it when that happens Cheryl :)
Glad to hear that it's working for you and thanks for the update.
