Hidden Email

Oct 28, 2019

Hi

I have a number of variables that I want to send via email. I have a good idea of how to get the variables into the email, but I do not want the outlook window to open and have the user be reliant on pressing send in outlook.

Is it possible to populate and send the email in the background? I am happy for the outlook window to open etc. but I would like this to happen automatically.

This is via a business so everyone is using Outlook. I am open to any suggestions for a way around this.

Many thanks in advance.

 Hi Rachel!

I have been chasing this one myself for a while Apparently there are security issues which prevent allowing Articulate to launch an email in the background.

I was toying with the idea of setting variables and using Google Analytics to track what has changed and when. There are some postings in here on how to set that up. Have not circled back to try it.

here is a link to a discussion about it in here...

lets see what others come up with...
