Have you considered moving the menu up to the top left perhaps instead of the sidebar, as defined in player features, so that the user can access when needed. This would keep it off the slide real estate for the most part, but still allow the availability to all users.
Just a thought, perhaps others in the community will be able to share theirs as well.
Otherwise, you would need to publish a new version for the desktop vs mobile viewing.

Hey there Leslie
Thank you so much for your kind and prompt answer.
I am afraid that the Menu link is already at the top left... Have a look at the attached image. This is the browser laptop version.
Thank you once again.

Hi Bobby!
Would you be able to share your .story file for us to take a look?
Hi Bobby! On second thought - you are correct.
If you take a look at this documentation, the Menu will show in the sidebar when viewing content in AMP, even if placed in the Topbar.
Thank you once again Leslie
It seems we should take a decision.
At least I tried :) Apparently there is no easy solution but we will find a way.
