I am creating an e-learning using gamification on storyline. The person clicks on various screen assets that then take the learner to various layers, for instance a document layer, a phone call to person 1 layer, a phone call to person 2 layer, enter a computer screen layer, etc. One of the layers is the right answer and will contain the next button. Is there a way to hide the next button on the main slide and let the next button appear on one of the layers instead?

Just turn off the Next button at the slide level and manually create a Continue button on the correct layer with a trigger to jump to the next slide.
That is what I am doing but the button stays there in sight and when clicked is dead. My concern is that the learner will be confused by this. Do you just explain that to them?
Never mind, I just found it thanks!!!
no worries. For those who might still be wondering: Click the gear icon on the base layer of the slide in question and deselect the Next button
.
