Hiding Next Button
Jul 26, 2018
Hi
I am looking for some help, I have managed to deactivate the next button so that the user can't move on until all buttons on the screen have been visited. However we have had feedback from our users that it confusing that the button can be seen (there are other screens in the course where I have the next button showing when the timeline ends after a serious of bullets appear)
I have tried to figure this out but struggle but I am sure its possible.
I have attached an example - any help would be appreciated.

I would set the initial state of the Next button to Disabled, which provides a visual indication to users. Once all buttons have been clicked, the Next button is enabled. See attached a quick example.
Thank for this Michael - its simple when you know how. I think I was over complicating it.

My 2 cents worth - I generally prefer Disabled to Hidden for the initial state of the Next button. If it is hidden, users will click on the Previous button, trying to advance before you want them to. That's a real pain (to them, not to me - I prefer to think of it as a "lesson") if the previous slide is complex. If disabled, they can click on it to their heart's content.
