Highlight correct answers on the incorrect feedback layer?
Apr 18, 2017
Hello! I'm hoping someone may know a solution to a challenge I'm trying to solve. I've been tasked with creating an easy to modify template that will be used by a team of programmers.
Challenge: For multiple choice and multiple selection knowledge check questions, I would like to have the correct answer choices "highlighted" (think, text box outline) when the incorrect feedback layer appears. While I can manually insert shapes on each KC throughout my course, the goal would be to somehow automate this using a trigger- that way when other programmers utilize the template there will be less room for error.
*Also, please note that we are using custom feedback layers that are built directly on the question slide rather than the master feedback slides.
Any ideas?

Hi Laura,
Interesting challenge you've got! Without seeing your .story file, this is just one idea:
I recorded a short Peek video (under 1 minute) showing what that looks like here!
Hope that helps!
Hi Ashley,
Thanks for your help! Laura asked an excellent question. In addition to that, what if there is a Try Again layer in between correct and incorrect feedback?
I mean, we give learner one chance (Try Again) before they see incorrect feedback.

Mohammad Hassam
Hi Mohammad - Ashley's example should still work in that scenario as well since it is driven off of the incorrect layer and the try again layer is completely different :)
is there a way to do this if you want the learner to have two tries? So if they get it incorrect twice, then it shows the correct answer?
Are there ways to do this with other questions like drag and drops etc?
Hi Stephanie! That's a great question, and I see you also started a new thread on the same topic. We can keep the conversation going over there, if you'd like!
