I have been creating these quizzes and everything has worked out fine until today. I can not get Storyline to publish my file after I import the hot spot question template I created or even if I use the hot spot questions template that Storyline provides. This was not a problem until today. How do I fix it so it will publish the question?
I have made a new file and only created a hot spot question. It will not publish the one slide in the file. I have uploaded the file in case that will help.
I tried to publish your file and ended up having to use Task Manager to shut down Storyline as it completely froze. I then opened your file again, deleted the hotspot and created a new one and then the file published okay.
It might be worth trying a quick repair on your Storyline following these instructions just in case it's causing the problem.
I'm glad I was able to help. I have no idea why it happened, but I have seen similar issues before and this generally seems to cure the problem. Unfortunately there is no common thread that might lead to a specific bug and so all I can suggest is that you tuck the solution away for a rainy day just in case it ever happens again ! :-)
