Hi! I'm building an interactive software simulation with screenshots, hotspots, text, and buttons. I created hotspots and buttons- some with alt text some without. I organized the focus order. I selected "accessibility text" in the navigation bar. In preview and published outputs in Chrome and Edge, the JAWS and NVDA screen readers only identify the browser and navigation bar. The screen readers are skipping over the module content entirely. What am I missing?
Hi L P, and welcome to the E-Learning Heroes community!
The accessibility features should work with all of the content you mentioned. Here's an article that may be helpful to you on Storyline 360 content and screen readers.
We'd also be happy to troubleshoot your .story file if you want to upload it publicly here or create a case privately with us.
