The hotspots on the attached project are not working properly, they worked on the main slide. However, after clicking the first object the hotspot moved down in order to select the next one you need to move the mouse below the object instead of clicking exactly on the object. Moreover, there is a movement on the object whenever you click on it. The position is the same in all layers, it gives a weird and odd feeling. Thanks all.
Michael did you rebuild the slide? When I open your file, I don't get the issue that I was getting with his where the base layer objects disappeared when I deleted the objects from the layer or the moving hotspot or the disappearing oval.
No, I didn't rebuild; just removed some duplicate items from the layers, changed layer properties (to not hide other layers) and removed the solid fill from the layer backgrounds.
Yeah, that's what I thought too. But now that I looked at the slide I realize the visibility of layers was enabled which is why I couldn't see the template change. I must be getting old. :)

This happens because you replicated the objects on each layer, which "cover up" the hotspots on the baselayer. See attached a simplified version.

Thank you Michael. Yes, it does look much better. However, the replay functionality does not work if the user wants to click on the icon again.
Replaying wasn't on your list, but you can simply add a Hide Layer trigger on each hotspot. See attached.
I got it! Thanks a lot Michael :)
