Hotspots in review

I have an SL2 story published flash with html5 fallback.
Flash is disabled in the browser.
After finishing the test the marking (student answer) is not showing on review.
After enabling flash in the browser the marking is showing. But we can't use that solutions in 2021.
So what can we do to make sure hotspot-answers will be visible in 2021. I know I can publish a new course in SL360 and new users can use the new course. But what to do with the many learners who already made this test in 2020, 2019 etcetera.

Thank you for writing in and walking us through the problem.
This experience matches an open bug in Storyline 2 where hotspot answers do not appear when reviewing the question slide.
I'm sorry I haven't found a workaround, but we're happy to troubleshoot your course to look for any custom approaches. If you could share the file, please use this private link.

I understand this is a known bug in SL2.
But I wonder what you mean by a custom approach?
Only a solution that is able to work with existing resume/suspend data would be helpfull.
Do you think there is such a solution/approach?
Students have filled in this courses/questions over the last few years, so it's not just a few questions but lots of questions in many stories.
What can we do to make the answers visible after 31/12/2021?
