I'm working on a training module in which a trigger starts an audio file playing. I'd like to give the user the ability to pause, stop or rewind the audio before clicking the next object that starts the next audio clip playing. How do I do that? I can't seem to find the option to add a play bar to control the currently-playing audio. Many thanks!
Hi Shel! Welcome to the community. There isn't a built-in option for audio controls but one option that others have found useful is to convert the audio file into a video format (SWF, FLV, MP4, etc.) and then show the video controls. You can see some discussion and an example of that here. Would that work for you?
Thanks, Mike. That may work. Would the audio then appear as a full empty video window? I have the audio playing as a trigger to various objects, so they start as soon as someone clicks. I'd rather a whole video window not appear; just the controls.
