How do I add interactivity to an inserted MP4?

Mar 05, 2020

I'm going to build a video using Vyond and would like to be able to make it interactive by having drag and drop or answering a multiple choice question, possibly knowledge checks, etc. I played around with it a little bit, but don't really get how I'd go about doing it. Can you recommend a tutorial or somewhere on the website where I can find out how to do this? Thank you in advance.

To create interactive videos in Storyline, you would overlay interactive objects (buttons, hotspots, shapes) over your Vyond .mp4 video in Storyline. Videos aren't inherently interactive so you need to overlay those elements above the video.

Here's an older tutorial that walks through the general idea of creating interactive videos: https://community.articulate.com/articles/interactive-video-quizzes-storyline

And here's one of Articulate's webinars on how to build interactive videos: https://training.articulate.com/webinars/create-interactive-video-quizzes-with-storyline-360

Thank you. I'm a newbie so I'm still learning everything.

Take a look at UCA's CUCMP and UCMC programs! Please send me an email with any questions.

Kind Regards,
