I would like to know how to change multiple items in multiple slides at one time. I have seen Jeanette do this in one of her Screenr shots, but cannot find it now. For instance, I have a button on all my slides and I want to change the color, or I want to change the background color on many slides at the same time. Anyone have any ideas?
If you can find that Jeanette Screenr, I'd be interested in seeing it. Or, if anyone knows how to change multiple items on multiple slides, I'd like to know how to do it as well.
Regarding changing the background color on many slides at the same time:
1. Change to Story view
2. Click a slide
3. To select more than one non-contiguous slide, hold the Control key down on the keyboard while clicking the slides
OR
To select contiguous slides, hold the Shift key down on the keyboard while clicking on the last slide in the sequence
4. Right-click on any slide and choose Format Background
5. Change to the desired background
You can select multiple OBJECTS on ONE slide using the same method.
I think Tony is referring to the color themes. If you set you fill and line colors using a color theme you can change that theme to a new one and all of the colors will change with it. You set or create new themes on the Master Slide View:
I wanted to welcome you to the E-Learning Heroes community, and it looks like you're getting the help you need, but let us know if you need anything else. Also, you may want to review this tutorial on how to change design themes including the theme colors.
Thank you all so much for your help! It might be wrong about what I saw in one of her screenrs, I am going straight to the source to ask if she remembers.
I tried the background thing and it didn't work the first time as I may have done it wrong. I tried it again and it works. User error.

The only way I can think that this is possible is using Master Slides.
@Troy - agreed! Master Slides can be very powerful.

Hi Troy,
Jeanette is no longer with Articulate, so if you sent her a private message you likely won't get a response.
Glad you got it working though!
