How do I host my course on a webpage of my website?

Jul 23, 2014

I bought Storyline thinking I would have an LMS to publish the content in. Now, I need to figure out a way to make eLearning available to my customers in a different way. Can I host the course on my website? If so, how do I accomplish this?

Hi Amanda,

If you don't need to the ability to track your quizzes and scores from your course, you can certainly publish for "Web" and upload your course to your web server.

However, there are some other options that may work for you:

  • I suggest using SCORM Cloud for your course - it's a great place to test SCORM content.
  • Another option would be to use our Tempshare server. Just keep in mind that this server is only available for testing content - it is not officially supported by Articulate and all content will be removed automatically after 10 days.
  • You're always welcome to try out Articulate Online, as well - it's available for a free 30 day trial.

In the meantime, if you decide you want to use your own web server, you may want to check out the following articles:

I hope this helps!
