In April of this year, I did a "Try It" demo where all the slides were inserted as Question slides (see attached). This allowed me to limit the number of attempts on each page to 2.
I'm doing a new course in November, and when I did "Try It" mode, only the slides that contained text entry appear as Question slides. All the hotspots don't bring up the Question tools, so I'm unable to limit the attempts to 2.
I'm doing several of these labs. How can I limit the number of attempts to users don't get locked into "Try It" forever?
The try it mode is not viewed as questions. You will need to set up hint captions to guide your learner and/or variables to move on when not attempted correctly. This thread may be of assistance to you.
If you need the attempts and wish to keep it simple, you may need to utilize test mode.
