How do you reduce the 'shhhhhh' sound in the voice recordings?

Hi, 

I have tried recording with different mics, different rooms. Have tried to reduce the volume when editing the audio, but I still get that shhhhh sound when i play back. 

Are there any ways to improve the quality of the sound?
