How is the Storyline "Duration" actually calculated?

Hi,

I have a course that is rapidly growing...

At the moment, there's no voiceover, but the Storyline "Duration" shows me a figure of near 1 hour.

How, exactly is this calculated, and what is it based on. I can see how it could work this out with voiceover, but I have not put any in yet.

I want to try and prove to the client that we need to address this, but I need to know how this is calculated first.

Afraid I don't have a very informative answer for you, but maybe Brian's post will help a little:

Elapsed time in SL

Now, I know you were active in that thread, so you've obviously seen that information at one point. I'm not sure if that would help out with explaining this to your client, but I'm hoping it'll get you at least a step closer!

Just because I was active does not mean I remember a darned thing about it
