Are you looking for info about the prebuilt types of slide layouts that come with Storyline? There are several that ship with Storyline, but we also have quite a few that you can get from the E-Learning Heroes downloads area. Check out the following:
Storyline offers several design themes, each of which provides 5 basic layouts that you can customize. You can learn about how to use each theme's basic layouts here.
Also, pre-loaded in Storyline there is a template called Character Display Panels and another called Top Interactions. Each of these contains 12 separate layouts that you can apply to your slides. You can use them by following the steps in this tutorial.
Plus, the number of free templates available in the Downloads area continues to grow. Right now there are 15 additional downloadable Storyline files that you can use and customize without restriction, and you can find them on this page.
You also asked about question options. There are several ready-made question types that Storyline provides, including 11 graded question types and 9 ready-made survey question types.
And if you need more flexibility in the kinds of questions you want to build, there are also 6 different freeform question types, which you can learn about here.
Does that give you the information you need? I hope it's helpful!
I don't have the pre-loaded templates. I have been trying to figure out how to install them. I have been able to download customized ones, but I would like access to what was already supposed to be installed. Can you please help?
How do I get the downloaded templates into the template tab - as you have displayed above. I have downloaded several just to have a bank but I'm confused on how to get them in there so that everytime I select the template tab they are there.
Once you download a template, it would be added to your template library. (The default location for Storyline templates is a folder called \My Articulate Projects\Storyline Templates.) When you open a new Storyline project (or close and reopen an existing project) you should see them listed in the Template drop down menu as Christine indicated.

Hi Denise. Welcome to E-Learning Heroes!
When you go to insert a new slide and select the "Templates" section on the list, do you see any of the built-in templates?
(Note: You can click on the image above to view a larger version.)
Do you see anything here, other than the customized ones you've downloaded?
I was opening a project someone else created. I tried a new one and it now works! Thank you for getting back to me so quickly!!
Hi Denise,
You're very welcome! Happy to hear it's working for you now
I hope you have a great day,
Christine

Ashley,
I think there is something wrong with my set up features. I will need to get with my IT department to figure out why.
Thank you for the assistance.
