How to change animations more faster?

Jun 28, 2013

Dear heroes,

I have two questions , and need some help!!

1,How to change videos more faster?

I made a slide and insert  a SWF video.

I want the slide become a template, so that I can copy it to make a lot of new slides, by copying the slide and change the animation in each slide.

Is there any method just like changing pictures by right click on the picture, and select "Changing Picture..."?

2.How to inhibit users control video?

I made a slide and insert  a SWF video, disable "Show video controls".

Users can pause the animation by clicking on it, but the timeline of this slide  is running!!

Is there any way to inhibit users control video?

Thanks a lot !!

Hi Wally - welcome to Heroes!

In response to question 1:

I don't believe there is a 'replace video' option so you will need to manually insert the new video/SWF each time. I think this would make a good feature for future releases of SL, so you may want to send in a feature request

In response to question 2:

The easiest way to prevent a user from clicking on the video to play/pause it is to add a shape over the video on you slide, set the outline to none and set the fill to 100% transparent - if you set it to 'no fill' the user will be able to click through it.
