Unfortunately changing the color of the user interface isn't an option in the current versions of Storyline. I agree that the interface of SL2 is awfully bright and in many places lacks contrast which makes it somewhat difficult to see what is going on sometimes. What would be nice would be an option to select an interface style like in Photoshop or Illustrator that allows you to pick an interface design/color that suits your work style. Personally I'd like to be able to tone down the interface elements to focus more clearly on and not overpower the content.
Hi, Shirin -- Brett is correct. Unfortunately, at this time, there is not a way to change the SL2 interface, but your thoughts are important, and using the Feature Request form he provided, your suggestions will be sent to our Product Development team for consideration. :)
Certainly, Shirin, and I wanted to mention, when you reply via email, the details in your signature are displayed publicly here in the thread, so you are welcome to use the EDIT button beneath your post to remove that information if privacy is a concern.

I suggest you create a feature request.
