Storyline 2 used to save all the media files into the .story file itself - so that you'd end up with one large file.
For 360 that seems to have changed - now it's saving references to assets within the .story file, but not the files themselves.
This is OK for a single computer, but after completing our projects, we have to upload our source to a single repository where it can be accessed in the future by other team members.
In Adobe products, such as After Effects, you can use a 'Collect files' function, which gathers all the files used, and deposits them in a new folder with updated references.
Is there a way to do this in Storyline? Otherwise, even if the assets are moved, none of the links will work when opened on a different computer.
The media assets aren't separated from the rest of the content in the published output folder.
If you have Storyline 360, you can export media files from the Media Library and save them separately. This is a simple way to keep track of the media files in each project.
