If you only have screenshot images rather than an application to record, you could put the images on a series slides and then add hotspots and data entry fields to make them interactive. If you need to test the sequence you can also use the Convert to Freeform option to turn them into hotspot and text entry questions which can be assessed and the results collected by a Results slide.
As Helen says, you need to build this using hotspots, captions and text entry fields.
as you cannot record the screens it is going to have to be built manually, for test you are going to have to leverage the free form questions to simulate this.
not sure if there are any tutorials, you are going to have to break it down into interactions e.g. Hotspot (click here) text entry, etc then look at those interactions
The idea is for them to get the username right and the password correct using Windows - I had to use images from the internet as I can't record logging on to windows.
Originally i did it with layers so have just modified it slightly on to different slides - so this is a qucck 3 minute copy and paste rehash so some clicks may not work correctly.

Hi Christopher,
Are you able to record a screencast of your images and insert it as a Step-by-Step video?
Here's how to do that...

Here is a quick sample -

Good luck
