I need to customize the text colour in the master slides. I want to choose different colours for the title, subtitles and body, and have it different on the 2 different background colours I have. The settings seem very limited, but I thought there must be a way to do that.
Have you tried changing the font color of the text placeholders in the Slide Master? In this example, I changed the Header color to red and the Body color to green. Those colors are reflected on my actual content slides.
