You will only see the motion path when you select the object with the motion path attached and click the Animations tab in edit mode
When you preview you will only see the motion path working. I'm not sure I understand what you mean. Do you want the start and end points visible in preview?
How would we request this as a feature in a future release? Having the option to make motions paths visible would save the time it takes to draw them on separately. Thanks!

Yes i want start and end points visible in preview .
That's not a function available in SL. Maybe someone can chime in with a workaround but I don't think it's possible.

You can draw a shape like the path. Your user can't tell if it is the real path or not.
