How to edit review results of final exam answers.

When the learner clicks to review their answers in the final exam, the check boxes (green) do not match up. How do I correct this issue?

The green ticks indicate which answers are correct. They are not supposed to appear within the checkbox.

I'm not sure you can. I can see the contrast with the blue is a problem. Is it possible to change that colour so it contrasts better with the tick?

No, this is a custom creation for the client (who has hundreds of courses)

You cannot change the way it is shown. You may need to use the review layer instead and use your own objects to show the correct answers.
