How to jump to a slide & automatically open one more layer? Nov 02, 2015 By Rodion Nagornov Hi all, My situation: I simulate the software using Storyline. I have one slide with Base layer and one additional layer. This slide can be opened via two buttons. If I open it using the first button, only the base layer should be opened. If I open it using the second button, both - base and additional layers have to be opened. Is there any way to realize this logic in Storyline?
Douglas Spencer over 8 years ago11/02/15 at 4:11 pm (UTC) This can be done with a simple True/False variable. Create a variable and set it to False as its default. Let's call it "path2". Set a trigger that will change path2 to True if the user does something of your choice On your decision slide, create a trigger that will "show layer" when the timeline starts. 4. Add a condition to that trigger that checks to see if path2 is True.
