how to make a hot spot, call out and draw a red box around hot spo

Hi

I can't remember how I made a hotspot, the call out for that spot and a red box that I drew around the hot spot work together. Right now if I draw the red line around the hotspot for the client to click on the call out doesn't come up. But if I take the red square away from the hotspot the call out appears when I hover over it.
