We just finished a series of eLearning project and they are uploaded on LMS for our client. Our client also requested the courses to be delivered on CDs and I'm wondering how I can set to publish a CD so that we can protect our contents and no one can make copies of our courses. I know it's almost impossible, but at least we would like to make it difficult.... We are using Storyline 3. Thank you for your help in advance.
I don't think a license server would really work here, as an internet connection would be required, and I'm not exactly sure how a javascript solution would be implemented effectively, but it's a starting point.
Thank you both for your help! Are there any CD burner software (that are safe to download AND free) that you recommend? I've never tried adding a digital watermark but I'll look into it.

Are your courses uploaded to your LMS, or your client's?
You may have already found this thread, but some rough ideas are explored such as content servers and client side javascript: https://community.articulate.com/discussions/articulate-storyline/content-protection

You could use CD burner software with copy protection (although non of them are unbreakable).
You may be better adding a digital watermark so you can see who allowed them to be copied.
I like it
