I got stuck in a quiz . In this quiz I need to accept any key from the keyboard, If user Press a correct key (eg: CTRL+L) it moves further, if wrong it should show an incorrect feedback. For this quiz, does it need any javascript? Please help. Thanks.
can I do it manually by programming method? Actually I am doing this step in a multiple step question and I'm working on layers. So' it's a problem to use this feature here....
If there is another option to resolve it. I'd like to know...
@ Ashley , thanks again .. I'll use this feature by using the slides for each step....
I'm not sure what you mean - but I suspect you means in terms of a trigger? There isn't a trigger option for pressing any other key - but maybe you could set it up to adjust the state of an offstage object when the user presses the correct key combination - and then use the states of that object to determine which layer to show?
There isn't such a trigger within Storyline - but it may be something you could set up with Javascript? That's outside my area of expertise and support, so I'll defer to the community - but you could begin by reviewing the best practices here.
We still don't have a trigger that allows for execution based on a user clicking any key. This feature hasn't bubbled up to the top of our roadmap, but we're still listening to the feedback! Here's a bit more about how we work to prioritize feature requests.
In the meantime, I'm not sure if folks in the community created a Javascript solution, so hopefully, they'll pop in here to share!

Hi Vimal,
There is no need to use javascript. You can use "When user presses a key" trigger.
Thanks for sharing Sarunas.
Hopefully this is what you needed Vimal!
Thanks Sarunas,
but when user pressess another key(except CTRL+L) then it need to show a feedback for wrong answer.
Hi Vimal,
Have you looked at setting up the slide using the "short cut key" question type?
Thanks Ashley,
That's a great feature, I didn't know this question type is available.
Glad that'll help Sarunas. :-)
Thanks a lot Ashley. :)
It's nice feature.

Is there a way to just check if any key has been pressed? Not any key in particular? "Press any key to continue"
