How to Report Completion and Success Statuses to an LMS

Our client is not getting completion status in LMS after completing the course

We had tried complete/incomplete and Passed/incomplete criteria but they are facing the same problem. 

But we are not facing any issues in our LMS. It is working fine from our end and showing the completion report.

Please suggest us as soon as possible.

hmm, not familiar with using skillport, but maybe there are some community members here that are.

I assume you're providing your client a SCORM package...

The best bet here would be to contact the LMS vendor, as they'll be able to help you with info specific to their LMS. If the scorm package is working correctly in your LMS you know it's not Storyline.

What communications protocol are you using? Publish > Reporting and Tracking... > Reporting | LMS:

  • AICC
  • SCORM 1.2
  • SCORM 2004 (which Edition?)
  • Tin Can API

What protocol(s) does your client's LMS support (older ones might not understand SCORM 2004 or Tin Can API)? What protocol(s) does your LMS support? Can you republish your course to use a protocol that both LMS' can understand?

How are you marking completion? Publish > Reporting and Tracking... > Tracking:

  • Track using number of slides viewed
  • Track using quiz result
  • Track using complete course trigger

Can you upload and test your course on SCORM Cloud to verify course completion data is being sent by the course?
