I created several custom guidelines for a slide as well as moved the default guidelines on this slide. I want to reset the guidelines to default, but I cannot find a way to do so.
Is there a way to reset or restore the default settings for guidelines?
Hello Carl, I guess there's isn't a way to reset/restore the guidelines to its initial positions. But here is quick process to create new guidelines:
Click on the View tab and make sure ruler and guides checkboxes are selected. Then click on the rules and drag onto the slide to create a new guideline (both horizontal/vertical).
The default guideline positions when the slide size is (720x540) 4:3: x-axis: 144 576 y-axis: 108 432. and when the slide size is (960x540) 16:9 x-axis: 264 696 y-axis: 108 432.

I suppose I took it for granted that there would be a "Restore to Default" option somewhere that I was missing somehow.
