I'm new to the discussions and would like to know how to implement a custom restart course button on the results slide only if the user fails to score 70% or above. At present the restart course is showing all of the time.
Set the initial state of your button to Hidden. Then add a slide trigger to the results slide that changes the state of the button to Normal when the timeline starts, if Results.ScorePercent<70.
Thanks for your help - I have applied the following trigger bleow to the results slide, but when scoring 53%, the Restart course button remains hidden, any idea what could be wrong?. I have included a screen shot of the current riggers on the result slide and the hidden button (greyed out):
1. Delete the current change state trigger from the button. 2.Make sure no object is selected on the slide. 3. Recreate the trigger. It will then show up as a slide trigger under the Submit Results trigger.
Got it - Thanks Michael - That's fixed it. I had the object selected in the trigger wizard instead of the slide, I'd thought you meant don't select an object on the stage!

Hi Michael,
Thanks for your help - I have applied the following trigger bleow to the results slide, but when scoring 53%, the Restart course button remains hidden, any idea what could be wrong?. I have included a screen shot of the current riggers on the result slide and the hidden button (greyed out):
Action : Change state of
Object: Rectangle 3
To State: Normal
When: Timeline starts
Object: Rectangle three
On Condition
List: Variables
If: Results.ScorePercent
Operator <Less than
Type: Value
Value: 70
Thanks again
The trigger is attached to the button. It needs to be a SLIDE trigger, similar to the Submit Results trigger.
Sorry Michael I don't think I follow, can you please explain that a little?
Do you mean I should create a trigger with the Action set to Submit results? or something else?
Thanks
1. Delete the current change state trigger from the button. 2.Make sure no object is selected on the slide. 3. Recreate the trigger. It will then show up as a slide trigger under the Submit Results trigger.

Hi Javid, great that you figured it out. I should have been more precise with my instructions.
