HTML 5
Apr 20, 2017
Hi I am finding all sorts of problems now that Chrome is using the HTML 5 output. - We hadn't noticed them before (and obviously our clients hadn't either). I would say that mostly our clients use IE (still supporting Flash) or Chrome (now mostly showing HTML 5).
Today it is the turn of the bespoke Play/Pause buttons.
They work fine to pause/play media in the Flash output, but it turns out it does not work in HTML 5 - It pauses - then when you hit play the audio starts from the beginning again not from the pause!!
I need help ASAP I have a very important and impatient client waiting on this project and expecting it all to work perfectly.
Does anyone have any work arounds??!
I cannot think of how to fix this. Please help!

I forgot to say and show in the example file I have posted that the timeline picks back up from the paused point - therefore making the audio and on screen info out of sync
Don't worry I have fixed it - it seems you do not need the play media and pause media triggers, it seems to work with just the pause timeline and play timeline - I am guessing this is through an update somewhere along the line...
Hey Lizzie, great find! I'm glad you were able to make it work before your deadline. ☺️
