How can we view the HTML code in Storyline? In one of my department's projects, we get an error message about line 62 so we tried to view the code to see what the problem was but couldn't figure out how to get to the HTML.
Welcome to Heroes! You should be able to open the story.html file up in a text editor such as Notepad just by right clicking it and choosing edit, depending on what version of Windows you are using. Notepad won't point out which line is 62, but a text editor like Notepad ++ would. In any case, Articulate doesn't support the editing of published output, but if you find something that you believe is a mistake, please let us know and we'll be happy to take a look.
Thanks, Adrian. I did view it in Notepad++ (many thanks for tip) and line 62 is in a section referencing Tin Can. I've attached a txt file of the HTML code and the section starts at the top of page 2. Would you please review it to see if it looks correct? We don't use Tin Can yet and my HTML knowledge is a tad rusty so I'm not sure if there should be two "if" clauses there.
Is there an update in editing source codes now? We're working on accessibility reviews and most of the recommendations I'm receiving pertains to editing HTML and/or source codes which I don't have any idea yet. Can you help me find the right thread to learn about this? Thanks.
We do not support the modification of published output, so I'd love to understand better what challenges you are experiencing with accessibility so that we can best help you.
